Due to certain circumstances at Malakoff school they could not continue the participation in the project. Thus, there has occurred the change of Norwegian partner. We are happy to present you our new partner – Narvik Upper-Secondary School. We are really grateful for the support they have provided and we could establish a reliable partnership.
Our first meeting took place at our school from 27 April to 1 May 2015. The main objective of it was to test the materials which were prepared in advance. So, science teachers from Narvik school and from our school went to Lahemaa National Park with 10 year students who completed the tasks in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Geography. Then, the project group investigated the area and visited Iisaku Nature Centre in order to get acquainted with local environment. Finally, we had several meetings aimed at the corrections of the tasks according to results of the testing in Lahemaa National Park, exchanging ideas about the project website and discussing tasks format and steps for the next meeting.
